Headgear

All uniformed military and Political formations had their own unique headgear. Most were for daily wear while many were utilitarian, such as with the military where they were used for combat & training purposes i.e. helmets. Still others were exclusively worn for dress or ceremonial occasions. Headgear varied in material, color & decoration depending on their use (climate) and organization. M1 Helmet, M1A, Garrison Cap, Patrol Cap, Jeep Cap, US Army, USMC, US Navy, Marine Corps, AAF, USAAF, CBI, Airborne, SF, Ranger, 1SSF, US Patches, Some standard military cap designs were the Visor Cap, Shako, Kepi, the Side, pickelhaube, Overseas or Side Cap and the Field or M43 style cap. Waffen-SS Tropical Field Cap

1 Waffen-SS Tropen Einheitsfeldmutze; One of the rarest types of Waffen-SS headgear, this  near mint tropical WSS Field cap is a superb example retaining its factory-applied tropical bevo-woven Cap Eagle & Totenkopf, unique insignia made specifically for these field caps and thus the rarity of the cap eagle & matching smaller totenkopf; correctly linen lined and marked with size & one of two specific makers stamp for these caps; double zinc vent eyelets on each side and center seam down crown. A super rare tropical field cap of which, to our knowledge is only specimen on today’s market; near mint condition-$8495.
