Headgear

All uniformed military and Political formations had their own unique headgear. Most were for daily wear while many were utilitarian, such as with the military where they were used for combat & training purposes i.e. helmets. Still others were exclusively worn for dress or ceremonial occasions. Headgear varied in material, color & decoration depending on their use (climate) and organization. 1 Luftwaffe Tropical Officers Visor Cap, Blue-gray Cotton Crusher-style Luftwaffe Officers Visor cap with ribbed “Cotton” top that started life as the rare blue-gray color fading to 95% desert sand color. Typical silver piped crown & blue ribbed cap band, two piece bullion insignia and leather edged green-underlay visor; Gold silk lining having full eisenglas; beige ersatz sweatband a bit rough but all there; A real one-looker with that been-there appearance; very uncommon -$2500.
