Headgear

All uniformed military and Political formations had their own unique headgear. Most were for daily wear while many were utilitarian, such as with the military where they were used for combat & training purposes i.e. helmets. Still others were exclusively worn for dress or ceremonial occasions. Headgear varied in material, color & decoration depending on their use (climate) and organization. 1 RZM issue EM/NCO Allgemeine-SS Visor Cap made by Nauberg in Erfurt (RZM contract #49); circa late 1930s; black ribbed wool throughout with white wool piping; typical full issue reddish-brown oilcloth/cotton combination lining and perforated ersatz-leather sweatband w/small 1/2" split; 100% celluloid moisture shield w/typical circular-silver Runic emblem; cap is mint unissued in a large size 59.5; correct SS-2 piece chinstrap; no mothing or wear throughout; great untampered with original to cap 'M1-52' SS Cap Totenkopf & Eagle set; As good as they come! $5995.
