Uniforms

All uniformed military and Political formations had their own uniform. Most were for daily wear while many were utilitarian, such as with the military where they were used for combat & training purposes. Still others were exclusively worn for dress or ceremonial occasions. Uniforms varied in material, color & decoration depending on their use (climate) and organization. 1902 US ARMY INFANTRY SGTS DRESS BLUE UNIFORM

1 US ARMY Model 1902 INFANTRY SERGEANT'S DRESS BLUE UNIFORM -Unit Marked & Spanish American War era; fine dark blue wool having blue piped shoulder boards, collar & cuffs; original brass domed eagle buttons down front and at cuffs. Completely lined in black cotton with single inside chest pocket (as is correct for enlisted issue uniforms of this period); Blue wool composite First Sergeants chevrons; original infantry dress cords and large brass pin-back crossed rifle collar insignia (came this way); marked inside originally to and Infantry Company of the Georgia National Guard (see pics) -circa Span-Am War period; no mothing and a large size.SOLD
