Constructed of silver, consisting of a vaulted Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebble arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, bearing a central mobile swastika situated within dual rings, and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of C.E. Juncker, above a silver content number of “900”, measuring 55.18 mm (w) x 54.86 mm (h), weighing 34.2 grams, a scarce example in extremely fine condition.
