Description: Die struck magnetic construction Patté style cross. Obverse of award features an embossed central canted swastika and re-institution date, “1939”, to bottom arm. Both swastika and date are in nice high relief. Plain reverse. Solid soldered hinge, broad, thick tapered vertical pin and heavy soldered catch all intact. Maker marked “L/13”, indicating manufacture by Paul Meybauer, Berlin.
