Mint WWII Japanese Private’s Tropical Uniform

An unlined, light olive drab cotton tunic & pants for warm weather conditions, which features breast pockets, a five button, single-breasted front closure, and a lay-down collar. Collar tabs for Private and are machine sewn to the collar. The patch breast pockets have straight, button-down flaps, with buttons. Beneath each armpit are vertical ventilation slashes; the left side of the tunic waist has a button-down strap for adding extra support to the bayonet/sword when being worn. The buttons have original stitching; well marked inside; tunic is mint and pants have their cloth belt, ankle ties and show some wear, approx a US size 36; pants are much more difficult to find.
