Description: Die struck zinc alloy construction badge with a copper-bronze finish unique to this rare maker. The reverse of the badge reveals much handwork around the tank area also unique to this maker.. The reverse has a soldered hinge within a specific rectangular solder area, a thin round vertical pin and a soldered catch on a circular base plate. The reverse is well marked with the initials EWE and this maker remains unknown and of very small production since they are seldom encountered. Much of this badge’s unique copper-bronze finish remains. Very fine overall.
