BUY / RESERVE THIS ITEMDescription: This Wehrmacht Rucksack, often inaccurately called the Model 1944 was produced early in the war circa 1941 to replace the prewar “Tornister 1939”; Gray painted steel hardware throughout with all Tropical web reinforcements, straps & buckles (no leather components). These all web tropical rucks can be found usually dated 1941 & 1942 (of which we have a few available). The more common versions with all black leather components of identical design, were produced later throughout the war in greater quantities. This larger, roomier rucksack (having 3 internal button pockets) could quickly be attached to the A-Frame, Y-straps (Tragegestell) or by itself with rare, individual, detachable web straps made exclusively for it -Which this includes (see pics). MInt unused.
