Baden Model 1897 Children’s Spike Helmet (Pickelhaube); about a 2/3 scale original looking helmet with some genuine parts! Superb, totally original and uncleaned with ersatz metal Baden plate, metal painted Reichs & Baden kokards and original chinscales & spike; fiber helmet body has a representative officers type lining; displays beautifully after nearly 120 years; pictures say it all on this hard-to -ind kids toy helmet that shows little to no real play wear. Most of these kids helmets when found are the more common Prussian type, this is the first Baden type we’ve seen.
