Description: Rare Die struck, slightly convex semi-hollow backed zinc alloy badge. Badge features an embossed, vertically oval, oak-leaf wreath with a Wehrmacht style eagle with down-swept wings, superimposed to the top center, encompassing a cut-out rifle with a fixed bayonet and a sling. Unknown maker but this particular badge has a unique crimped/rivet hinge & pin assembly (see pics of hinge & pin catch hook) Rare, Near Mint beauty!
