Description: Uncommon die-stamped zinc alloy construction badge of early production for zinc. Unique hinge/pin/catch assembly to this maker. The reverse of the badge reveals a hollow mirror image as a result of Deumer using their earlier tombak dies with the newer zinc material. These badges were never marked but are easily recognizable by their wide flat soldered hinge plate and a soldered catch hook (round or flat-type) on a circular base plate. Uncommon and very fine overall.
