Constructed of neusilber & tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round catch, maker marked “B&NL”, measuring 43 x 65mm weighing 44 grams, blue low-base case having a blue flocked interior base. A superb early B&NL example in extremely fine condition that retains an untouched patina.
