Rare proficiency badge of the Nuotatori Battalion, later “NP”, of the famous ‘X-Mas’ Naval unit. This is the original first-type swimmers badge with loops designed for uniform or beret wear. This early badge is of thin, stamped white-metal alloy, approx. 66mm x 36mm having large flaming sword with embossed “N” for Nuotatori and circling Dolphin design; certainly one of the most attractive of all the RSI badges.
