Standard 1940 pattern Army steel enlisted buckle in hellgrün paint (a bit brighter than the pics show), roller prong bar retaining its original russet leather tab stitched around it, maker marked & dated 1941 with a very faint ‘Eagle-M’; measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), buckle shows age, slight high-point rubbing at obverse; reverse shows no actual use and is mint. Uncommon Navy hellgrün colored tropical buckle as used exclusively in and around the North African/Mediterranean Areas.
