2nd pattern M1936 SS Officers chained dagger; excellent unmarked blade with sharply etched motto, unsharpened with only runner marks and a few scratches; early black ebony grip with nickel eagle & enameled SS emblem; perfect fitting solid nickel cross guards; exceptional black anodized scabbard, nearly 100% and dark plated fittings with type II chain correctly marked SS & DRGM; this is one where the owner took his early M1933 dagger and replaced its scabbard with the new M1936 chained one when they became authorized; all straight!
