NSKK Dagger by the rare maker Weste & Butze

Description: This NSKK by the rare maker WESTE & BUTZE is exceptionally nice overall having fine matching nickel fittings. The cross guards are in excellent condition with smooth surfaces, crisp edges and precise accent grooves. The lower reverse crossguard is gruppe marked “Om”.
The grip is a very fine example and a tight fit between the guards. The SA runes button has perfect uncleaned enameling. The matching toned nickel grip eagle retains its sharp details reflecting little to no wear. A superb grip overall.
The scabbard shell has nearly all its glossy black lacquer with only a couple of slight edge scuffs. The scabbard mounts exactly match the tone of the cross guards and are excellent. All four original nickel screws are in place and totally unmolested.
The blade of this example is bright and excellent with only the slightest of runner marks. The motto retains great darkened gray toning. On the reverse the rarely seen large oval WESTE & BUTZE Anchor-logo and SOLINGEN. The blade shoulders perfectly with the lower crossguard contour and fits the scabbard smooth & snug as it should. A rare maker in great condition!
