WW2 Japanese Naval Officer’s Dirk (1883 Pattern); circa 1930 it is 16 inches overall having a nicely polished 9 inch single edged fuller blade with a distinct hamon; habaki & seppa are tight; gilt finished brass fittings throughout with uncommon decorative fuchi and pommel cap; polished black samahada scabbard with nicely stippled fittings. This is great, tight dirk with no issues; a choice example.
