WW2 Japanese Naval Officer’s Kyu-gunto Sword (1896 Pattern); circa 1930s it is 33 inches overall having a bright +26 inch single edged blade; gilt finished brass fittings with uncommon decorative stippling throughout; kanji mark on hilt; polished black samehada scabbard with nicely stippled fittings overall. This is great, tight high-end decorated sword with no issues; a choice example.
