The script indicates that, “Obergefreiten Gustav Soest, Stab/I.PzArty.Rgt.16”, was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class in the field on “28.Mai.1943”. The document has an original authorizing signature of an Oberst & Div.Kdr. The document shows slight yellowing typical of age; very fine overall.
