Aluminum body & lid w/steel handle & bale; 100% original factory feldgrün paint; Comes in its uncommon, nicely maker-marked pre-war Carrier Pouch; These pouches were discontinued early on at the outbreak of the war. Stamped Twice with makers initials & 38; date on both hinge bail of steel handle and upper pan handle (see pics). As used by all Wehrmacht Field-units (Heer, Luftwaffe, WSS, Polizei & KM); All original construction; excellent showing NO field use, appears as unissued. Impossible to upgrade this great just pre-war set.
