Description: This great condition Double Decal Field Police Combat Helmet retains about 92% its original smooth apple green finish with some scuffing to top areas as would normally be expected of a field worn helmet. Same paint inside the helmet is 97%. Police eagle decal is about 97%. National tri-color shield decal is about 95%. All three liner-retaining split pins match the helmet body perfectly in color. The liner band is the M40 type and the tan leather liner although showing wear is fully intact with its original tie string. Liner size stamp is long gone but it is no doubt a size 56/57″. Rear inside apron is lot number stamped, “5003” and the left side apron has manufacturer’s code and size stamp, “SE64, (Sächsische Emaillier u.Stanzwerke, Lauter).
