Description: Helmet retains +90% of its original, smooth, apple-green paint. Second pattern, un-bordered Police eagle shield decal rates 97% with the corresponding national party shield 95%. Interior neck flange is serial number stamped, “4555” and left side flange is stamped, with manufacturers code and size, “ET68” indicating manufacture by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz, size 68. Complete large size M31 leather liner is fully intact with all fingers, just a bit dry. Original aluminum liner band is 1939 dated and untouched. Just needs the correct chinstrap to complete.
