Description: High quality Model 1897 Imperial German Officers Pickelhaube for a Baden Reserve Officer of Grenadier Rgt #10 or Infantry Regiments 111-114, 142, 169 & 170. Black high-gloss leather helmet body with typical wide-leather sweatband & split-silk officers liner and red & green under visors (see pics). Helmet has all its original untouched components to include: Baden Reserve Officers Eagle front plate having 100% of its original fire-gilding; Chinscales, Spike & base, Baden & Reichs Officer quality Cocardes and front visor edging and rear spine all retain 100% of their original fire-gilding. Front plate nuts & washers remain in their original position as do all others around the spike base and spine. Good average size.Great, remarkable unworn condition- near impossible to upgrade;
