Pre-1943 Heer General Officers visor Cap by EREL; fabulous cap still retaining its paper EREL label at eisenglass; Fine green doeskin wool upper and dark green cap band both surmounted by fine gold-twist wire; heavy gold wire chincord retained by gold cap buttons; standard officers aluminum insignia (pre-1943) with unique EREL ‘vented screen’ cockade; full wide leather sweatband with embossing; gold silken lining with full eisenglass having EREL logo. Cap was most likey never worn and just shows its age through handling. Quite rare with label.
