Kriegsmarine Coastal Arty Officers Visor cap by EREL with feldgrau wool top; dunkelgrün cap band and piping throughout, wonderfully toned two piece gold bullion-wire insignia with Army Generals style wreath and soft black leather (crusher-style) visor; gold KM buttons and nicely toned silver officers chincord; typical lime-green silken lining have EREL-SONDERKLASSE Gilt Diamond Logo under its full eisenglas; extra wide beige leather sweatband having silver embossed EREL logo, typical elaborate hinge-stitching/attachment and as usual perforated brow, indicative of EREL; about a size 56; A real one-looker and extremely uncommon- (This exact cap is featured in the book “German Headgear in World War II” by Moran & Maguire; page 302-303).
