Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger Double Decal Helmet; early steel spanner-bolt helmet with correct early white rubber padding throughout; helmet retains 97% of its original early feldgrun color with strong Eagle & National decals; helmet is stamped ET66 in side of skirt & lot number 3820 in back of rear skirt; a nice supple beige leather, un-darkened liner with no issues whatsoever that is ink stamped with maker Karl Heisler DRGM & size 55/66; original, early full gray leather chinstrap harness with green snap showing only slight use; a rare untampered-with textbook Double Decal Paratrooper helmet seldom encountered on the market today; -POR (This helmet is pictured in the Schiffer publication: “German Headgear in WWII” pg.250).
