Description: This helmet speaks for itself and is the classic ‘Cut-Off’ that clearly shows it was either removed from the deceased owner as a souvenir in the field or taken perhaps off a grave marker. The steel pot remains excellent having two mid-war side bolts and two later rear bolts that appear to be period replaced as viewed from the interior. Zinc liner itself and all rubber pads are untouched. Only partial liner and chinstrap remain due to +80 yrs of blood presence. Remarkably, liner markings remain partially readable. Size is an average 56-57.
