BUY / RESERVE THIS ITEMDescription: Helmet retains about 92% of its original flat feldgrau paint inside and out. The 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is about 75%. Wartime zinc liner band and all three retaining pins & washers are intact. Ink stamped size 56, the M31 tan pigskin leather liner is fully intact with all fingers and original tie string. The reverse, interior, neck guard apron is serial/lot number stamped, “972” and the interior, left side apron has the stamped manufacturer’s code “hkp__”, indicating later manufacture by manufacture by Sachische Emailles u. Stanzbewwerke. A solid representative, mid-war combat.
