M35 Army Double Decal Helmet

Description: An outstanding M1935 Double Decal Heer Helmet that remains completely untouched. Its early apple-green paint remains at 99%! The left side of the helmet has a 99% early Heer eagle decal and the right side a 98% national tri-color shield. All three liner split pins & bushings are fully intact, tight and untampered-with. The interior of the helmets has a light tan, M31 leather liner stamped size 58, with all eight fingers and its original tie string. Its aluminum, liner band remains as tight as the day it was assembled. Its original Chinstrap is marker marked & dated “1938” The interior crown of the helmet faintly retains its oval, “Beschaffungsamt” ink stamp. The interior reverse neck skirt is lot number stamped, “3680”. The interior left side skirt is stamped with the manufacturers code & size “E.F.66”, for manufacture by Emaillierwerk, AG Fulda, size 66. An outstanding example, getting harder to find.
