Waffen-SS Tropen Einheitsfeldmutze; One of the rarest types of Waffen-SS headgear, this near mint tropical WSS Field cap is a superb example retaining its factory-applied tropical bevo-woven Cap Eagle & Totenkopf, unique insignia made specifically for these field caps and thus the rarity of the cap eagle & matching smaller totenkopf; correctly linen lined and marked with size & one of two specific makers stamp for these caps; double zinc vent eyelets on each side and center seam down crown. A super rare tropical field cap of which, to our knowledge is only specimen on today’s market; near mint condition.
