US M1 HELMET circa 1943-44 w/TANK DESTROYER Insignia; 99% original paint inside & out to this front seam helmet; minty khaki web chinstrap with 1944 style buckle; Westinghouse liner is nr mint with most use to the sweatband, nape strap and leather chinstrap (name written on back of sweatband); unique with period Tank Destroyer lacquered decals on each side of liner (non-reactive to UV-light); overall this helmet shows minimal use & certainly no real field use.
