Description: Full length, thick black wool cuffband approx 30mm X 44cm with silver-thread machine-embroidered “METZ 1944” in block-style lettering and having matching silver-thread Soutache Borders (Russian braid). Reverse embroidery has a mirrored appearance; shows age with some staining to center lower soutache; excellent overall, never applied. An exceedingly rare cuffband.
