It is the highest rank below Grandadmiral of which there were only two. This outstanding offering displays the rare Generaladmiral shoulder boards each featuring three rank pips over the intertwined cello cords. The admiral’s rank greatcoat is distinguished by its cornflower blue lapels. The double row of six gilt anchor buttons all match. The rear of the coat displays two rows of anchor gilt buttons. There are very minor moth nips present but these are miniscule and do not detract from the coat’s appearance. The interior is fully lined with black artificial silk. The tailor’s label, “J. Robrecht, inhaber Hans Thiel Kiel “. Inside the left interior pocket is a matching tailor name label. This name label displays a faded name attributed to Otto Schneewind.
