BUY / RESERVE THIS ITEMDescription: LuftwaffeTechnical/Admin branch with the rank of Major; elaborate, privately made Berlin tailors label in collar and inside pocket with the later named to owner then a Hauptmann March 1942; blouse made of quality heavy blue-grey colored ribbed trikot wool, blouse has open collar, four button front, four pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs; it is lined in a blue-gray colored rayon and has an internal breast pocket and set up for wear with a dagger or sword; the collar is piped in twisted aluminum cord, the collar patches have hand embroidered silver full wreaths in aluminum wire on a green wool and are piped in gold twist piping, the sewn-in shoulder boards are or Majors rank having entwined silver brocade cording on red wool with a green wool underlay; beautiful hand-embroidered bullion breast eagle in the early (down-tail) style; there are loops for a single breast badge; excellent to near mint overall.
