Sauer designed thick-sidewall receiver developed for these LSR-Snipers ; serial number is 6670 with late-style firing proof; all matching numbers to include bolt, front barrel band and extended long-key safety for function under sniper scope; correct & original checkered sniper butt-plate; phosphate finish is 100%; according to the ref. “The Kriegsmodell” by Steves & Karem this ‘bcd 4’ gun is a late 2nd series assembly circa early 1945; scope mount base is WaA359 proofed and mint laminate stock is stamped eagle ‘H’ on right side; fitted with a Kahles H/4 x 60 Scope w/sun shield, 1 of 8 types used in the production of LSR Snipers by Gustloff; optics are perfect, bore is mint as would be expected with this unissued rifle.
