Description: (Heeres Flak-Kampfabzeichen 1941) FLAK badge constructed fein zink, die struck with a solid backed featuring an embossed, vertically oval, oak-leaf wreath with a Wehrmacht style eagle superimposed to the top center, encompassing the likeness of a finely detailed, cut-out, 88mm anti-aircraft artillery piece with the barrel extending beyond the outer edge of the wreath. Complete with typical later Junker hinge, pin and long-flat catch assembly; measuring 45 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), weighing approx 24 grams; unmarked version in extremely fine condition.
