Description: Luftwaffe blue/grey, wool/rayon blend construction cap features fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and forward sides. The front center of the cap has a machine embroidered, second pattern Luftwaffe eagle machine woven on a cut-out, blue/grey, wool base above a machine embroidered, national tri-color cockade in black, white and red rayon threads. Both the eagle and the cockade are original to this cap. The interior of the cap is fully lined in blue/grey cotton/rayon. Roughly a size 56. No mothing and very minimal wear, a very nice example.
