Deutsches Kreuz in Silver in original case having silver striped lid; cross is marked “20” on reverse of pin for maker “C.F. Zimmermann”; this is the light Zimmermann badge weighing in at 42.5 grams; typical four hollow rivets; correct die flaws present: rivet just visible at 12-o’clock position, starburst-flaw at 10-o’clock & deformed 9 in ‘1941’ at 6-o’clock. Cross comes in its correct type III case with some black paper loss slight tattering to inner lid. This DK is excellent+ showing no imperfections to black enamel and nearly all its finish to both the silver wreath & black starburst.
