An extremely well-preserved and matching pair of Allgemeine SS Officer’s leather boots. Each constructed of multiple pieces of thick, blackened leather with double machine-stitching reinforcing all seams. The sole of each boot features an elevated, multi-piece reinforced heel secured in place with an array of magnetic metal hobnails. Embossed onto the mid-section of each sole is stamped “SS-193/38-RZM”. The interior of each boot is finished in light brown leather and features dual rayon straps set into the sides, each fastened into a loop. Additional marks identical to those found on the sole are stamped onto the interior of each boot in black ink “SS-193/38-RZM”. The boots both measure 11 inches from heel to toe and are 17 inches high. Minor creasing and scuffing consistent with light usage is evident, but the boots remain in an overall extremely fine condition. Quite rare.
