Description: Comparing the pommel to the crossguard and scabbard it is obvious from the patination, that these parts have always been together. The grip is a deep, dark orange color, and is in excellent condition throughout.
The scabbard is fabricated from steel. The panels are very crisp with nearly all its silvering;. The scabbard bands are highly detailed and hand enhancing to the oak leafing. The throat is the thinner type and it is retained by a flat flush placed screw.
The blade of this example is truly Perfect; It’s nice and bright in 100% polish, remaining mint. The reverse ricasso is deeply etched with the Weyersberg oval logo. The original beige leather washer is in place. This dagger’s untouched officer’s knot remains and it comes with an excellent hanger set having superb detailing and dark patina;. A very nice untouched and complete Army Officer Rig.
