BUY / RESERVE THIS ITEMDescription: An early first period (1933-35) SA Dagger by “Ernst Pack & Söhne” of Solingen”; the obverse blade ricasso bearing the etching of their unique E.P.&S logo reflecting this maker. Blade remains in superb condition showing its high polish with only slight runner marks. Motto is well defined with all its matt-darker gray etched coloring. Excellent Nickel-silver crossguards with the lower one gau marked ‘B’ for Berlin’. Dark brown wood grip fits well to both top and bottom fittings; No cracks or chipping to the smooth. Correct nickel national eagle & enameled SA button are excellent and nicely fitted to grip. Early brown anodized steel scabbard is a real beauty and 99% of its original finish & lacquer with a single tiny edge ding; Nickel silver scabbard fittings retain all four of their unmolested retaining screws. Blades mates tightly with scabbard the way it should..
