Description: This Mint condition Single DecalLuftwaffeCombat Helmet retains about 100% its original flat, rough texture blue-gray finish with only a couple of minor scuff marks.. Luftwaffe eagle decal is 99%. All three liner-retaining split pins match the helmet body perfectly in color. The liner band is the M40 type and factory tight; its tan leather liner shows no wear or use, is stamped ‘57 N12’ underneath and size stamped ‘56 above on one of its rear tongues. Liner retains its mint original tie string. The Helmet’s rear inside apron is lot number stamped, “DN64” and the left side apron has manufacturer’s code and size stamp, ‘Q64’, (Quist, Esslingen). Liner’s Mint original M40 chinstrap remains in place and clearly RBN# stamped.. A choice mint-condition M40 SD LuftCombat Helmet;
