Description: Untouched, all-original Luftwaffe Majors Flieger tunic of fine blue wool having a blue rayon lining and typical pinstriped sleeve linings. Evidence of removed Tailors label on the interior chest pocket. Twisted silver-cord collar piping surrounds the hand-embroidered silver bullion Major of flight gold wool collar tabs. Silver-brocade sew-in Majors boards w/16mm pebbled shoulder buttons. Beautiful hand-embroidered bullion (down-tail) breast eagle. Two pairs of loops on the left chest, no doubt for an EK1 & Flight Badge (Pilot, Paratrooper, Observer, etc.). Badges for display only and not included. A quality Officers Flieger Tunic in Excellent to near mint condition with no issues.
