8th AAF Theater-made Uniform British-Tailored Officers Ike-style Uniform Attributed on Brit tailors tag: ‘Lt J. Bodnaruk, US Army Sept 1944’; 2nd Lieutenant Bodnaruk arrived at his squadron in August 1944 and had this uniform tailored in September by D.W.Curtis Ltd. in London; Uniform retains all its original theater-made insignia to include hand-embroidered Silver bullion on blue wool Bombardier Wing, Gold silk on blue wool 8th Air Force shoulder patch & Silver bullion 1Lt rank bars; collar retains its original matching US & Winged-Prop Collar devices with Pres Unit Citation ribbon on right chest.
